Curried Chicken Salad

From my dear friend Martha Ulmer, who grew up in Malaysia.

2 cups coarsely cut, cooked chicken

1/2 Tablespoon soy sauce
Rounded 1/2 Tablespoon curry powder
3/4 cup mayonnaise

Stir dressing and chicken together.

Just before serving add:
3/4 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup pineapple tidbits
1/2 cup sliced water chestnuts
1/2 cup toasted almonds, slivered
3/4 cup grapes

Serve chilled.
