P  R  A  Y


> “Know that the Lord, he is God!  It is He who made us, and we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.  Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.  Give thanks to Him; bless His name!  For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever and His faithfulness to all generations.”  Psalm 100:2-5

> “Through Him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips that acknowledge His name”  Hebrews 13:15

> “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God” 2 Cor. 1:3-4

> “For from Him and through Him and for Him are all things.  To Him be the glory forever! Amen” Romans 11:36

R—REPENTANCE (sorrow and weep for our sins as individuals and corporately)

As the Lord leads; cry out to Him of the things we have done that are displeasing to Him; things that grieve His spirit.

> “He who conceals his sin will not prosper.  But he who confesses and forsakes them will find compassion” Proverbs 28:13

> “Thus says the Lord God, Repent and turn away from your idols and turn your faces away from all your admonitions.”  Ezekiel 14:6

>” Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord” Acts 3:19

>” If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”  1 John 1:9


Bring a spiritual awakening to our city; to call us to hunger and thirst for Him; to draw many to participate in the 10 DAYS OF PRAYER EVENT

      “so then, let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober” I Thess. 5:6

>for a spirit to fall on Lubbock that brings unity and community

     “Then make My job complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one of spirit and of one mind.”  Philippians 2:2

>for a spirit of salvation to fall on the people of Lubbock

     “lead a quiet and peaceable life that is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires ALL people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth”  I Timothy 2:1-4

>for a warring spirit in prayer to increase in Lubbock

      “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm” Ephesians 6:11, 12

>for a spirit of forgiveness, peace and joy in abundance in Lubbock

     “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you” Matthew 6:14

>for God to rise up righteous God-fearing leaders who desire to walk and lead with His wisdom and Kingdom principles in Lubbock

     “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people mourn” Proverbs 29:2

Y—YIELD TO GOD (Lubbock as a whole)

>Seek His ways……”For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than yours And my thoughts than your thoughts” Isaiah 55:8-9

>Yield to humility……”By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honor, and life.”   Proverbs 22:4

>Yield to obedience…..”He that has my commandments and keeps them, it is he that loves me:  and he that loves me (Jesus) shall be loved by my Father, and I will love Him…”  John 14:21

>Yield to walking in the Fruit of the Spirit

“But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace forbearance, kindness goodness faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.  Against such things there is no law” Galatians 5:22-23

End your time in prayer thanking God for hearing our prayers and for the mighty ways in which He will answer them.  May all glory be brought to Him and him alone.
