Green Beans

Fresh Steamed:
Wash and snap fresh green beans. Remove any strings as needed. (You can also find fresh, washed and trimmed green beans pre-bagged in the produce section). Place beans in steamer basket; place basket over well fitting saucepan filled with at least 1 inch of water. Bring to a boil; cover and steam for 7-10 minutes or until crisp-tender. Transfer to serving bowl, add either butter, garlic butter or a little Better than Bouillon – beef or ham flavor.
