Got a new wineskin?

If you have any changes in your future, you are probably dealing with anxiety. Yesterday, we decided that we were going to purposefully replace our looping thoughts with an aspect of God.

How did you do?

Okay, so seeking His Kingdom is a vital cure for anxiety (Matthew 6:33). Yet, how much do we actually understand about what this Kingdom really is?

If you have given Christ your life (Colossians 3:3) – (not in some religious ceremony, but in the honesty of your heart) – then He has implanted you with the seed of His Kingdom (James 1:21).

You see, when you cried out for Him to come into your life, He didn’t just insert Himself into your existing spirit (John 3:5). Instead, He transformed your inner man so that you could house the Essence of the Universe (Ezekiel 36:26).

Your spirit became a new wineskin, specially designed to hold New Wine. (Matthew 9:17)

“The Kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:21)

Although your outer situation may not have changed much, your inner man has been completely transformed (Galatians 6:15). From the viewpoint of the Spirit’s dimension, you’ve been metamorphosed from one type of being into another (1 Corinthians 5:17).

Isn’t that mind-boggling?

Our problem is that we keep looking at what we can see with our physical eyes.

When we do that – our spiritual reality becomes foggy and our understanding of this new actuality is hard to see.

You can’t see spiritual realities with physical eyes (John 3:3).

Just as the lamp of the physical body consist of retinas and corneas (Matthew 6:22), the lamp of our spiritual existence is an enlightened revelation of Him (Ephesians 1:17-18).

Seeking the Kingdom of God is opening yourself to a mysterious viewpoint that only He can give.

Wanna go there this year?
