Bacon-Wrapped Green Beans

Another holiday favorite. Introduced to me by Janelle, my sister-in-law.

2 cans green beans (in Taiwan, we used fresh that had been parboiled till crisp-tender)
½ lb. uncooked bacon
¼ cup Dijon mustard
3 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 Tablespoon water

Drain green beans. Cut bacon slices in half, then again in half long-ways. Wrap about 8 green beans in each 1/4 slice of bacon. Place bundles “seam down” in 9×13 inch baking dish. Mix together mustard, sugar, and water. Drizzle bundles with mustard mixture. Bake at 375 for 35-45 minutes or until bacon is browned. May finish last five minutes on broil or even move baking dish onto a hot grill to crisp bacon.
