Indian Crock Pot Curry

Turn on crock pot to high. Add following ingredients in order:

2 lbs cubed beef or lamb
Onion (optional)

In separate bowl, mix following ingredients together.
 
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Minced garlic to taste
1 Tablespoon fresh ginger, finely chopped and peeled
1 or 2 Serrano peppers, finely chopped and seeded
3 Tablespoons curry powder
1 large 28 oz. can petite diced tomatoes
1 cup water
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons garam masala
 
Pour this mixture over meat and onions. Cook on high for 40 minutes. Stir. Reduce heat to low. Cook for 6-8 more hours. Serve over steamed rice or even as a soup.
