Holy Father,

Thank You for adopting me into Your family so that I can indeed call You Father (Romans 8:15). As Divine Father, You know just how to parent my children and grandchildren. So today, I bring them to Your attention, asking that You awaken them to pay attention to Your Truth (Daniel 9:13). Draw them to You with Your Holy magnetism and turn their hearts to receive Your Word with great eagerness, so that they would always search eagerly to know Your Truth (John 6:44; Acts 17:11). Betroth them to Yourself as pure virgins in Spirit, revealing to them their need to submit their fleshliness to You (2 Corinthians 11:2; John 17:2). Release Your Word upon them to perform Your work and will in their lives (1 Thessalonians 2:13).

Bring other Christians alongside them to supply what is lacking in their faith (1 Thessalonians 3:10) and reveal my own lack of faith, that I may move past doubt and pray with power. Cause them to increase and abound in love for others, so that their hearts will be established without blame in holiness before You (1 Thessalonians 3:12-13). Indeed, preserve their life and don’t let their feet slip, Abba Father (Psalm 66:9).

May they be planted firmly in Your dwelling place and thrive in Your Presence (Psalm 92:12-13). Grant them roots that seek water from Your depths, that they may yield fruit even in dry seasons (Jeremiah 17:8). And grant them the brilliant Light of Jesus that shines more and more intently within them until the day of Your return (Proverbs 4:18).

Equip them to do Your will in everything. Work out the activity of Your Spirit within them so that they may be pleasing to You (Hebrews 13:20). Grant me the insight to see Your will for them, even when it differs from my particular desire. Open Your heavenly storehouse for them, raining down the blessings of Your Spirit (Deuteronomy 28:12). And reveal to them the path You have for their life, so they may be filled with the joy of waiting before You (Acts 2:28). In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
